SASHA COLLINGTON - Writer, director, producer
Sasha’s debut feature, Love Type D, is currently in post production.. Sasha was one of four writers to win the inaugural Betty Box and Peter Rogers Comedy Writing Award in partnership with Big Talk Productions, the CTBF and LOCO for her feature film project, Another Anna. Sasha is an alumni of the Binger Writers Lab and the Berlinale Talent Campus. She has an MA in Filmmaking from the London Film School. Sasha is currently working on three pilot scripts for episodic comedies. Her most recent short film, LUNCH DATE, screened at film festivals across the USA, including Aspen Shortsfest, where it won a Special Jury Recognition Award from the comedy jury.
MICHAEL HALPERN - EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
Michael earned a Masters Degree in Business and a Juris Doctorate from Florida State University. In 1976, Michael founded the law firm of Michael Halpern, P.A. which practiced law in Florida for thirty five years. Michael served as President of his local bar association and was twice honored by the Supreme Court for his pro bono representation of the indigent and the elderly. Michael began his business career with the development and operation of bars and restaurants in South Florida. He subsequently expanded his business interests to include the development and operation of hotels, residential, and commercial properties, and now film. Michael currently serves as President and Chairman of seven hotel and real estate companies as well as three charitable foundations.
CHRISTOPHER SCHNEIDER - DoP
With a Degree in Cinematography from the North Carolina School of the Arts and an extensive background in film projection and exhibition, Christopher Schneider brings a depth of knowledge to his cinematic work. Having transcended the young New Jersey boy who haunted the aisles of video stores to become a filmmaker who has made films in more than 6 countries, Schneider considers himself a student of cinema as much as a maker.
Jessica benhamou - producer
Jessica is an award-winning producer, who studied Modern Languages at the University of Oxford. Her sci-fi short film, EVIE (2018), was sponsored by ARRI and Directors UK through the Alexa Challenge. Her previous short, JULIET REMEMBERED (2016), was awarded the Cointreau Creative Crew grant and led to Jessica being named Marie Claire’s ‘Wonder Woman’ of the month. The film picked up ‘Best Short Film’ at the British Independent Film Festival and ‘Best Screenplay’ at Oxford International Film Festival. It’s being distributed in the US, Europe and South Asia through ShortsTV. Jessica has worked on major productions such as Netflix’s THE CROWN and investigative shows such as BBC’s flagship Panorama.
ST.JOHN O’RORKE - editor
St.John O’Rorke G.B.F.T.E. is a BAFTA & Emmy nominated editor. His first comedy feature, Tomorrow, La Scala! (directed by Francesca Joseph) premiered at Cannes in the un certain regard section, and was followed by a second comedy One Last Chance, with Neve McIntosh. He cut First Night, a rom-com feature film directed by Christopher Menaul with Richard E Grant, Sarah Brightman & Mia Maestro. He worked again with Christopher Menaul on Summer in February, with Dominic Cooper & Emily Browning, and also the BAFTA winning TV mini series See No Evil, starring Maxine Peake & Joanne Froggatt. He recently took London Fields to release, and is currently working on a thriller series for Starz cable channel in America.
